Henderson County High School educates over 2000 students county-wide, and the Career & Technical Education program within the high school helps to prepare students in a hands-on manner for future careers. Course offerings within the CTE include Pre-Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Technology, Automotive Technology, Agriculture, and Health Sciences. An average of 300 students earn college credits while still in high school each year through the CTE program, and gain hands-on experience through intern partnerships with local companies.

Henderson Community College
Henderson Community College (HCC), as a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KTCTS), provides instruction in a variety of technical fields, including Industrial Maintenance Technology. The in-depth program offered through HCC at the Sullivan Technology Center trains students in a variety of disciplines within the field, such as Robotics, Motor Control, AC/DC Electricity, Fluid Power, PLC, Welding, CAD, and Digital Electronics. Students in these disciplines can earn certifications as well as an Associate of Applied Science degree. For those already in the workforce who seek further education, HCC offers continuing education programs and works with local industry to set up apprenticeships.
